Annual Events

Friends Announce 7th Annual Fall Book Sale

Holy cow we have a lot of books for this sale!  We have about 400 boxes and are still receiving more donations every week.  Our Fall Book Sale will be on September 30th and October 1st at the Latah County Fair Grounds.  We will have our traditional "Friends Only" presale on the evening of Friday, September 30th  from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  If your membership has lapsed or you'd like to become a member, you may sign up at the door.  Dues start at $15 for an individual membership, $25 for family membership, and on up for patrons, saints etc.  

We will open our doors to the general public at 8:00am on Saturday, October 1st. The book sale will close at Noon and reopen at 12:15pm for sheer pandemonium, our famous, colossal "Buck a Bag" sale.  All the books you can fit into a grocery bag for $1.  The book sale will then close for good at 1:30pm.   Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own reusable grocery bags for the regular sale and the buck a bag event.  

The Book Lover's Calendars for 2012 have arrived and will be available at the book sale as well as the Winter Markets that we attend.  For the 5th year we are maintaining the same low price:  just $7 each or 3 for $20.  We'll also be offering book lights, book worms and other goodies for the bibliophiles on your gift list.

Be sure to come to the book sale and join in the fun while supporting your library.  Hope to see you there!

Goals

The Friends raise money for Summer Reading and other Moscow library youth and adult programs throughout the year.

Membership Fees

Membership is $15. for an individual, $25. for a family, $50 for patrons, $100 for the Carol Ryrie Brink Club and $500 for the Carnegie Club.  Dues may be dropped off a the Library anytime during regular business hours, mailed to Friends of the Moscow Library, 110 S. Jefferson St., Moscow, ID  83843 or paid at one of our booksales.
