DESCRIPTION:\nThe Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee is hosting a series of Water Workshops at the Genesee Community Library for youth and adults all about water and it’s importance to our lives and environment. Check out the event descriptions below and stop by when you can!\n\n\n\n3 April at 4 PM – Teens and Adults will get to use the aquifer models and talk about water tables and the science behind harvesting ground water.\n\n\n\n10 April at 5 PM – Adults will be treated to a presentation about Palouse Prairie revitalization tips that can be used on any yard. Just in time for gardening season!\n\n\n\n8 May at 4 PM – Youth will get to enjoy activities based on the waterways clean up, and talk about the importance of keeping our outdoor waterways clean.\n\n\n\n\n
