Registration is required. Register now to place an automatic hold on a copy for you to read.

Since 1985, Let’s Talk About It (LTAI) has been bringing adult reading discussion groups together with humanities scholars in Idaho’s public libraries to discuss literature. These book readings and discussions explore American values, history, culture, aging, classics, and much more. This winter, the Latah County Library District will host three book discussions as part of the LTAI series Living in the Modern Rural West. The first session will explore “The Cassandra” by Sharma Shields, with Professor Emeritus Ron McFarland of the University of Idaho’s English Department leading the discussion.

“The Cassandra follows a woman who goes to work in a top secret research facility during WWII, only to be tormented by visions of what the mission will mean for humankind.”
