Lawn Chair Book Club
Make plans to join us for an upcoming, limited series adult book club coming in August: Moscow Public Library’s Lawn Chair Book Club!
Registration is required, and will open on our website starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21. Those wishing to participate should plan to attend all three meetings: Saturday, August 7, Friday, September 3, and Saturday, October 2. Each meeting will take place at 1:00 p.m. and will meet outside on the grounds of the library (weather permitting). Feel free to bring your own lawn or camp chair!
A copy of the selected books will be given for free to registered participants, but spots are limited! In August, members will share what they’ve been reading, favorite books, and get to know each other with some ice breakers. They will also receive a free copy of September’s pick: Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. In September, we’ll discuss Homegoing, and registered members will receive a free copy of The River by Peter Heller. At the final meeting in October, we’ll discuss The River, and a couple of door prize copies of the Everybody Reads selected book, Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore by Matthew J. Sullivan will be drawn for.
