The Kendrick-Juliaetta Public Library serves the residents of Kendrick, Juliaetta, and the surrounding area. The Latah County Library District purchased the building on November 7, 2024, and the branch officially opened on October 6, 2025. Before it was a library, the building served the Kendrick Juliaetta area as a bank for over 50 years.

The LCLD Board and the City of Juliaetta had been discussing a library move to a different building for approximately 20 years. When the bank property became available, our new director, April Hernandez, jumped at the opportunity. Thus began a journey that lasted nearly a whole year. The LCLD Business Manager led the renovations, starting by removing the bank vault door and gutting the back rooms. Today, the Kendrick-Juliaetta Public Library stands as a testament to the Latah County Library District’s commitment to serving its rural communities.
