MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge

MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge is an entirely internet-based math modeling competition with no registration or participation fees. Schools in the U.S., England, and Wales are eligible to enter in teams of three to five students. Over $2 million has been awarded through 2025.

APL Challenge

Submission: Rounds begin in February, May, August, and November and last for three months. Winners will be announced within three weeks of the end of a round.

APL is a programming language that will change the way you think about solving problems. The APL Challenge has been made for those that don’t know APL yet. You don’t need to know any programming either. We’ll teach everything you need to know as you go along. You don’t need to solve every problem, but every one you do, gives you a chance to win one of three USD 100 prizes.

American Regions Mathematics League (ARML)

Davidson Fellows Scholarship

The Davidson Fellows Scholarship, sponsored by the Davidson Institute, recognizes high school students who have demonstrated exceptional ability and achievement through a significant project. Categories for submission include Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Literature, Music, Philosophy, and an “Outside the Box” category for interdisciplinary work. You must submit a 10-minute video detailing your project, essays explaining its significance, and teacher recommendations. The scholarship awards are among the most prestigious for students, offering $100,000, $50,000, and $25,000 scholarships.
