The Latah County Library District seeks a full-time Library Assistant III in the Technical Services department at the headquarters library in Moscow, Idaho. Duties include receiving and reconciling orders of library materials and supplies, processing and cataloging library materials, maintaining statistical records, and participating in staff and professional development activities.

Requires high school diploma or GED, library or comparable experience, an understanding of MARC records, excellent computer and communication skills, knowledge of library functions, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary range: $13.20 to $14.38 per hour, depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefit package. Application deadline: July 31, 2015.

New hours at Moscow Public Library

Beginning on June 1, 2015, the Moscow branch will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Birds of North America Online provides comprehensive scientific information for over 700 species of birds nesting in the U.S. and Canada.

You’ll find image and video galleries showing plumages, behaviors, habitat, nests and eggs, distribution maps, recordings of bird songs and calls of bird species. BNAO is produced by the Cornell University Lab of Ornithology and the American Ornithologists Union.
